Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)

It's a great day to be a Lincoln Leopard!

What is PBIS?

PBIS stand for Positive Behavior Intervention Systems and is a district wide initiative geared towards continuing to infuse our schools with positive reinforcements for expected behaviors plus opportunities for our students to learn from their mistakes.

How does Lincoln use PBIS?

Students can earn a R.O.A.R.S. ticket for displaying positive behavior.

Students can enter their tickets into drawings for experiences, like: Art with the Principal, Staff vs Student sport games, VIP line pass on pizza day, etc.

Classrooms are focusing on our positive behavior expectations through fun lessons, projects, collaborative assignments, etc.

Lincoln Elementary is a proud participant in the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program.

Students participate in special assemblies and presentations throughout the year which focus on specific expectations for each area of the school.

Students will be recognized for their outstanding R.O.A.R.S. behavior at monthly flag decks.

No Bullying!

Lincoln Elementary  - R.O.A.R.S.

Lincoln is Anti-bullying

Because we understand Bullying:

We will not bully others.

We will try to help students who are bullied.

We will try to include students who are left out.

If we know somebody is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.
