About

Front of Lincoln Elementary School

Lincoln is truly a remarkable place for students to learn and grow, and we are committed to helping all members of our school community strive to be their personal best. To that end, our teachers and staff work closely with our families to ensure students are supported academically, behaviorally, developmentally, socially, and emotionally.

Teaching the whole child is at the heart of everything we do at Lincoln.  Our Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) philosophy is a key piece of this focus.  Lincoln Leopards are expected to demonstrate R.O.A.R.S. behavior across the campus.  R.O.A.R.S stands for Respect Others, Own Your Actions, Always Do Your Best, Responsibility, and Show Empathy.  These expectations are explicitly taught, modeled and reviewed throughout the school year.  Lincoln students have multiple opportunities to be rewarded for their behavior on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

The teachers and staff at Lincoln are dedicated professionals who truly believe each and every child has the potential to succeed.  Our teaching staff is highly qualified, and they have high expectations for every student on our campus.  Our standards based curriculum is rigorous, and lesson design is carefully crafted to help students exceed National, State, and District standards.
